La ubicación es un éxito, por eso siempre regreso cada año, pero esta vez me pareció que el desayuno ha disminuido sus opciones. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, pero cómodas, y el baño está impecable con buena presión de agua caliente.

The room is advertised as a double but was tiny more like a single.One side of the bed was pushed against the wall making access impossible.If your booking a room book a king bed.

De tudo. A localização é excelente, tem tudo pertinho! O café da manhã é ótimo! Estávamos preocupados com o tamanho do quarto, que parecia muito pequeno, mas ficamos muito bem acomodados. Super recomendo!

housekeeping missed us 1 day. that happens. around 5:00pm, i asked front desk to at least send up some towels. around 9:00pm i waited at front desk for 5+ minutes and no one came. 2 ladies checking people has lines that were too long, went back to roon and tried to call housekeeping, reception and concierge, phone just rang and rang. for the price we paid, you should have more staff.

Mary checked us in and was very friendly, kind and welcoming. The Concierge and porter were most helpful, smiley and friendly too. The option of the luggage room was most helpful. The location was great for exploring London, near to two tube stations and Charing Cross rail station, all within a short walk, as were restaurants, shops, bars, cafes, theatres, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden

We stayed at the strand for the first few days in London. It's The perfect distance to good coffee and bagels as well as amazing places to eat for lunch and dinner. Public transport made it easy to explore museums, the aquarium, and the amusement park. It was pretty easy to walk around and explore Parks and other iconic landmarks without use of public transportation. The beds were comfortable.

I booked a single bedroom with an upgrade & it was amazing, cozy, safe! They added a chocolate bar that was delicious and a refillable water bottle that said London on it. I loved the history, and I loved the location. It was an amazing property. I’ll stay there again.

Only one thing I didn’t like, and that is that I feel like the walls were thin. I didn’t notice it until about 9:30 one night as I was about to fall asleep the room next to me. It sounded like they were banging the door and it was crazy. It lasted for about 15 minutes, but I think they were just settling in. After that, I didn’t hear anything else and I slept wonderfully. The next morning I was afraid to use my hairdryer because I thought it might wake them up lol.

i paid for my room in full upon arrival at the hotel, however, i noticed only today (Wednesday) that the hotel has taken an additional £259.00 from my bank account WITHOUT my consent or permission or WITHOUT notifying me. I confirm that i did NOT eat or drink in the hotel NOR did i damage or remove anything from the room during my stat at the hotel.

The room was very small, different from the picture. We were tired, so I didn't try to change it. The view from the window was of a chimney, so it was very bad. The staff was nice, but they treated everyone differently, and it was noticeable. I'd probably go back if I had the chance.

Very expensive for a single room . Didn’t like that anyone could get in the lifts , usually you would need to use your keycard to get to your floor . It was free access to everyone .

Check-in! We arrived to check in and drop bags and was told not in the system despite booking in April and having confirmation/messages via booking from The Stand even in the last week. The gentleman spent ages repeatedly saying not on system despite me showing him all the booking information. Eventually he disappeared for 5 mins to talk to a supervisor and told me everything ok. When we came back to check in properly, I fortunately noticed the booking only was for one, I'd booked for two. So he'd put me on the system not the booking.com information. I was then told if the second person wanted breakfast they'd have to pay extra, so once again I showed my booking details and after a few taps I was told all ok. This was becoming frustrating as all around people checking in with no issues. This was such a different experience to our previous stay where check-in was a breeze including a complimentary upgrade. About an hour in, we had a knock on the door, my wife answered it to a member of house staff who said "sorry, sorry" and walked off! She wasn't sure what that was about! Will we be back at nearly £400 for a night, I doubt it. Which is a shame as location is perfect for theatres and breakfast is the best ever!

Great central location. My compact single bed room was just perfect. Everything I needed was there. Enjoyed the crisp, modern yet comfy feel of the decor. Lovely bathroom with shower and shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Every staff member I had interaction with was polite, friendly and helpful, on and smiling!

Sicuramente la posizione è il suo punto di forza. Vicinissimo a Covent Garden e comodo per raggiungere tutte le attrazioni londinesi grazie alla vicinanza delle fermate della metropolitana. La metratura della camera era buona soprattutto in confronto con altri alberghi londinesi. La pulizia era buona. La colazione offre una buona scelta di dolce e salato.

Perfect spot on The Strand a short stroll from Covent Garden. Huge improvement since my last stay in 2007! Rooms feel smaller but the decor and bathrooms are excellent. Enjoyed our visit to the Gin bar and overall the ambiance is very pleasant and staff very helpful.

The only thing I wasn't sure about was the £25 holding fee/deposit per room (when the bill had been paid). Accounting explained it to me so all good and that amount hasn't been charged, just a little confusing (to me).
