Rooms were lovely Beds ,bedding etc perfect Felt I was in a very safe environment Spa area All members of staff some stood out more than others unfortunately cant name them as dont wear name badges Lots of choice for breakfast.

Only issue we had was on the Friday evening we tried to go to the rooftop bar but we're not allowed as a private function was on ,Same Sunday morning could not access due to a yoga class .

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect, the hotel was immaculate, very comfortable, clean and staff were 1st class so helpful and professional. Our room was newly renovated and was beautiful. The hotel lobby had a great atmosphere with lots of seating so you could sit enjoy a drink and relax. Spa facilities were great and nice to relax after a day in the city. The buffet breakfast was delicious, lots of options and intolerances and allergies very well catered too. I have to make special mention to Anisia and Luke who went above and beyond for us during our stay, all the staff were amazing but these two in particular really looked after us and were so kind, knowledgable and friendly a real asset to the Montcalm Royal London House. We will most certainly be back!

The property itself was absolutely beautiful. The hotel has a spa on the lower floor that consists of a swimming pool, jacuzzis, steam room, infra red sauna, gym and treatment rooms. They also have their own bar with built in brewery which we were unaware of but was absolutely fantastic. Now the important part… The staff- the hotel staff are absolutely top tier. We were greeted on arrival and helped with our luggage from our entrance to the hotel, to the reception to check in and then to our room. Phenomenal service. Check in was swift and easy. The room- was absolutely perfect. The bed so large and spacious. The bathroom has a huge lit mirror and underfloor heating which is fantastic. The sound proofing in this room is soo good that we couldn’t even hear each other if one of us were in the bathroom. The Spa- was beautiful, it wasn’t overly packed and we had a lot of moments by ourselves using the different facilities at different times. Between 4.30-7pm which was surprisingly not busy. The Aviary- Firstly I want to say a huge thank you to the Manager Jess and our waitress Charlie, both went above and beyond. The service, the recommendations and even their energy were sensational. It definitely was a remarkable experience and we thank you both for such wonderful service. Now the food… 😍😍 for starters we had the crispy duck salad and the sea bream ceviche 😍😍😍. Then we had the Chateaubriand with Jersey Royals, Truffle fries and Hispi Cabbage. All were mouth watering. Cocktails- 😍😍😍 the head bar man made the smoothest old fashioned and the cocktails that kept following were made to perfection. Especially the spicy green Margarita. The Breakfast- breakfast experience was just as high level as the dinner, with a large variety of hot food as well as cereals, fruit, salads and pastries. As well as a menu for you to order other breakfast items like omelettes and pancakes etc.

The only negative about the hotel was a minor fix. The pool at the time was heavily chlorinated so it made it hard to stay in there too long. Another issue only for drivers- there is no hotel parking. The bays around the hotel and surrounding roads are limited to 2 hours and the NCP parking is £40 for 4 hours then £50 for 24 hours 🙃. So I would avoid driving if you can.

The touchscreen in the room for lightcontrols cannot be dimmed, resulting in a beam of light in the room all night. Nevertheless, fine rooms, but for a 5* location this should be fixed.

Couldn’t get through to the property, emailed multiple times, tried calling kept getting put on hold or being told the right person isn’t working to help. Keep not responding to their booking.com messages and just saying to email them when they don’t answer very upset used to use them alot for work but will be going somewhere else in future.

The location was very convenient, cleanliness was at high level and the staff members were very welcoming and responsive. The food quality at the restaurant for breakfast was also at high level. Overall great experience and I will definitely stay there again.

Sofa bed couldn't find blanket pillow for the sofa bed phone was not working in the room to ring reception very lazy to go downstairs I slept with our pillow and a blanket. Maybe the phone in the room was working but was not dialing out to reception.

Unfortunately on the hottest May Day ever over 34% C the roof top bar restaurant Air Conditioning had broken down and still wasn’t fixed the following day. Being presented with Red Wine at room temperature 38%+ meant you got Red boiling liquid - not good

The hotel is a bit outdated, but not run down or shabby. It has a very nice rooftop garden and restaurant called aviary. (No living birds though.) The room was large and comfy, very good bathroom and comfortable bed. Very delicious breakfast also. The spa was also nice, not too large but pleasant.

Where do I even begin… I booked a night at the Montcalm Royal London House for my sister and I for a very special occasion — I was going to ask her to be my Maid of Honour! I wanted to completely blow her away with the experience, and somehow the team managed to exceed even my wildest expectations. Before our stay, I had been in contact with the Guest Experience team to explain my plans. My initial contact was with Iman, who was incredibly accommodating and kind from the very beginning. I then had the pleasure of communicating directly with Ryan, who helped me plan the decorations. Ryan was so enthusiastic about the meaning behind the celebration and instantly calmed my nerves. He truly is an absolute gem and went above and beyond for me. From the moment we arrived at the Montcalm, we were greeted with flowing prosecco — and honestly, that alone set the tone for the entire stay. Keep the prosecco coming because I may genuinely rebook just for that. The hotel staff were amazing, warm, and welcoming throughout. I was absolutely full of nerves and apparently not hiding it very well, but it all became part of the fun. Then I had the honour of meeting Myroslava, the Manager of Guest Experience. Myroslava… where do I even start? I was so anxious beforehand, but once I had time with her to go over everything, it honestly felt like she held my hand through the entire process. She made me feel completely reassured and genuinely cared about making this moment special for us. The plan was for the room to be decorated whilst my sister and I were enjoying the spa facilities, so that when we returned — relaxed and unsuspecting — she would walk into the surprise. Well… when we opened that door, my sister SCREAMED with joy. And honestly? So did I. I was completely blown away by the effort Myroslava had gone to.

Iman was so helpful and friendly with arranging my birthday surpise- the whole expereince was phenominal from the room service to the views to the super helpful and supportive staff ! i felt ar home but u was only there for 2 days deluxe king room great heated floor was nice to walk into the morning bathroom. Iman checked in on me, the time I went the spa was quiet and not huge either. such fun local to many spots in london.

We received such special care and attention at the Montcalm royal London. My husband and I stayed for one night to celebrate our 25 year wedding anniversary. When we checked in we were greeted warmly by Myroslava who told us where to find every thing and wished us a happy anniversary. As we settled into our room there was a knock at the door and champagne was delivered to help with our celebrations. It was a really lovely gesture and so welcome. The rest of the stay was a delight. Comfortable bed, fantastic buffet breakfast and great facilities, the pool and the sauna were favourites! We are already planning our return. Many thanks specifically to Mytoslava and Mihir who helped to make our limited time away really special.

Absolutely superb stay here for the weekend . Spa facilities are great and the breakfast was lovely. We were looked after by the best front of house staff I have ever had the pleasure of being served by . Sahil went above and beyond in looking after us . Nothing was too much trouble and he was so friendly and professional as well . Myroslava was very good as well . I cannot recommend this hotel here highly enough

The only negative was that we were unable to attend the bar on the first night as it was closed for a private party and the next day & night there was a function on the rooftop that required ticket access. It was a bit disappointing that all facilities were not available to guests
